How long did YOU stand for?

Today I stood for 7 hours. 4 in Bakers and 3 at Chadstone. A think a pat on the back is necessary. Maybe even two...

excuse me and my rant from yesterday, espically the spelling which I will fix up...

I'm having a bad day, and the universe is certainly not making it any better. I slept in and missed art, the dog wouldn't pee (its a long story...), I incountered a rude tram driver who refused to let me out of the tram, making me miss 3 trams in a row and making me even more late, AND was mean to a poor little tourist who didn't know where she was going. People are annoying me. Ignorance is bliss.. however, not for the people who have to be surrounded by ignorant people all day. That, is certainly not bliss. Rudeness is something I also cannot stand. I get the whole year 11 to a year 8. Because sometimes younger people, no, yougner girls, generally in the 13-14 age group annoy me, simply with one quick glance at their stupid smirks and limp, side ponies. It's easy to dislike people younger than us. It's the food chain. I am older than you, therefore..I win. It's as simple as that. But general rudness, that is completely uncalled for, something you would expect for a megadouche of a person, and not a normal one... that is something I cannot stand. The only thing that has turned my day around has been gosspi girl. HOMG HOMG HOMG. allow me to rant like a 16 year old teenage girl for one second, HOMGHOMG GOJMIGOGHOMG OMG OMG. HE WAS GOING TO PROPOSE!! AND THEN HE GOT SHOT AND HIS RING WAS STOLEN?!?!? nnnnNNNNNnooooooooooo! CHUUCKKKK! Just saying; he better magically wake up, I don't want gossip girl to become like the OC. Sorry... I had no internet or phone line yesterday evening, therfore no one to rant to about gopssip girl. Isn't it strange.. I remember the french class in year siven (7), the day of the very first episode of gossip girl, to which I pretended I had heard of.. and now, here I am, 3 years later, ranting about gossip girl to the unknown cyber world. strange. Anyway. This bad day post has turned into a how much I love gossip girl post. School time, yay.

wohooo.

Today is my 5852nd day of being alive. Note to self: Day 5852 sucked. Make sure day 5853 is slightly better.... and bring more food to school..

I'd like to say that I made these... I will.. but.. I haven't as of yet. I took a picture of these little cuppiecakes from a book I was given for my 16th, which was, suprisingly enough, not, about cooking at all. hahhaha I love how oddly shaped they all are

Macar-who?

One of my rainbow birthday macaroons.... yummmmmm

My 16th birthday present from Gma

Gma Gray took the liberty of putting large 'X's next to herself, Mumma G, and my Auntie... because we would never be able to tell who is who.... hahhha. Thanks Gan. I love this photograph, and has instantly become my favorite of all of the photos I have. Gma Gray is amazing. The hair. The clothes. Everything. If only people still dressed like this today... and used as much hair spray...

Now just WAIT one moment.

Get prepared. For my birthdday I recieved a Canon IXUS 105 IS. OH my. it's 12.1 mega.p and I'd prefer to look at life through it, than to actaully look at life... what with my crappy unreliable, non-12.1-mega.pixel-eyes and what not. I took a whole lot of photos of some of the things I was given for my birthday, however I have been watching too much HIMYM, as I find it soooooothing, so my internet has been capped, therfore it would take a week to upload a single photo. SO. Prepare yourself. Mentally and physically. As I am currently trying to now... term 3 is looming... along with almost 8 hours of training for athletics a week... garhhhhhhh.

P.s. Dam you Jenny. Damn you.

This one is for you Mandi. My favorites are the top right, 2nd from the bottom on the left, and bottom right hand corner. And the fat cat that is invisible. He's rad.

The greatest debate.

I could hurl it down the stairs, just like chessie did this morning... I could send it to that guy that blends stuff on youtube... to be blended into a fine dust. I want to smash it on the floor and kick it around. I want to twist its head the wrong way, and snap it clean off. I want to take it apart... piece by piece... like that stupid guy on the IT video... and never put it back together. I could. Yes, it's true.. however it cost quite a lot, which is strange, because it really doesn't have muh, if anything to offer at all. It's like I'm babysitting an annoying, difficult baby, however I don't get paid and I'm baby sitting it for 3 years... not 3 hours. It constantly hibernates, and tells me that I've spelt my name wrong. It heavy and makes alot of noise when it gets hot. It doesn't play CD's, and it once wouldn't give me back my Harry Potter DVD for 3 weeks. B1tch.... It's ugly and slow, and doesn't let me go on facebook. I'm sick of pressing FN-F7 and the mouse is always stuck. I'm not sure if you have guessed.. but I'm talking about a PC. My PC to be exact. And if you want to be all 'techno' correct then, Microsoft windows, whatever. In other words.. anything that isn't a mac. There is nothing more than I hate than a PC, and I am pretty sure that they will be the cause of my death... Now, my opinion is valid, for although I have only ever had imacs at home; we had the very first laptop, and currently have 2 new versions, and have had 3 different macs, (all amazing of course), my opinion is valid, for the reason that I have worked on PC's for all my life- at school, from prep to right now.. as I am typing this on my pathetic excuse of a laptop as we speak, I use them in Vis com, IT, english, history, spanish, philosophy, science.. everything. So. I can say, that Mac's are better than PC's, because I use both, every single day, certainly not by choice of course, and I am certain that Mac's have caused much less stress related deaths than PC's, if any at all. If you do not own a mac, or use one on a daily basis... then you cannot claim that PC's are better, for my friend, if you did have a mac, you certainly would not be saying, nor even using a PC, ever again. Just because you have an ipod, or an iphone, does not mean you know anything about Mac's. Once you go Mac, there is no going back.

I am currently in IT. A class solely devoted to learning how to use these so called 'computers'... if we had Mac's we wouldn't have to spend 4 agonizing hours a week, leanring how to work them, which is so mind boggling-ly stupid.. words cannot even communicate my annoyance and irritation. Not to mention the 3 whole days it took, just to be able to turn them on and work them. I could go on for hours, but that would be annoying and boring, so I won't. Agree, or disagree, it's your choice, but after year 12, I shall never voluntarily touch another PC for as long as I shall live. If I can halp it.

I haven't done anything. I saw Kevin. Went into a dark cellar. Cleaned stairs. Pretended to do homework.. drew some old bottles. Ran away from all of the yuppies in one of my fav hidden vintage shops.. which is not so hidden anymore... and blogged... which I shouldn't.. grrrrr

The Look

I have this gorgeous book called, 'The Look-Australian women in their fashion'. The book was given to my mum by her mother when she was sick-in 1976. It says, 'The Look tells the story of the fashions of Australian women from the early settlers to the fashions of today' The book looks at Australian women and their history.

I had tons of other pictures but at the moment my scanner is being difficult, so bear with me. Hold your breath and come back tomorrow, which by the time you will read this, it already will be... not unless you have insomnia and cannot sleep and are reading this RIGHT NOW, in which case this message apples to you, COME BACK TOMORROW TO SEE THE REST of the photos...

Cough cough, splatter splatterrr

This is a little post card I picked up from Melbourne's free post card stands...

CD designnnn

Don't mind my scanner, it's a little sneaky sometimes and like to chop my pictures in strange places... here's my CD design for Vis Com....

This is the CD design.... hopefully you would have guessed that.. it too got sliced the shreds
This is the front and inside cover

and this is the back, however as you can see, half of it got chopped off. It had a cool bar code that looked like piece of paper being shredded... however, it was sliced off by my sly sly scanner..
